Glanbia Wins Top Ireland Business Award

Ireland’s top 250 businesses were nominated by their peers for consideration. 

            “The Business & Finance Award is Ireland’s business version of an Oscar award,” explained Jeff Williams, president and chief executive officer of Glanbia Foods in Twin Falls.  “Ireland’s business community has been recognizing excellence in Irish business with this award for over 30 years.  Glanbia’s Foods’ business success in the United States – particularly Twin Falls -- is rooted in sound management and businesses practices of our corporate office in Ireland.  This award confirms Glanbia’s international business strength,” Williams said.

This award reflects the views not only of business and finance and their judging panel, but also those of business leaders and entrepreneurs throughout Ireland’s leading companies.

            Management from Glanbia’s Ireland headquarters was on hand to receive the award at a ceremony held there in December.
